Zycast KTFX4 4 INPUT HD MODULATOR
The Zycast KTFX4 4 Input HD Modulator is specifically designed for commercial venues and hotels, with redundant power supply, pre-set menu for quick programming and ethernet for alarms and remote access.
The KT-FX4 is a Foxtel-approved quad input (HDMI) HD digital modulator that encodes HDMI signal to any DTV channels.
Pre-programmed with a Foxtel-approved channel listing and Keno and with an output level of 90dB and MER of >38dB, the KT-FX4 makes use of video compression via H.264 AVC (MPEG-4) and audio compression via MPEG Layer II/AAC to distribute four crystal-clear HD pictures over new or existing coaxial cable.
Programming of theKT-FX4is done via a web GUI and front LCD panel. It uses a frequency range of 177.5MHz to 816.5MHz (6 to 69).
Redundant Backup Power Supply Included
The KTFX4 4 Input HD Modulator has DUAL POWER SUPPLIES using one as a redundant backup. The redundant backup will activate should the main PSU fail. By setting the ethernet for remote access, you can create notifications if the main PSU should fail, allowing you time to get to venue and replace the main PSU without losing picture ! This redundancy makes it the most reliable modulator available for critical installations.
