A reminder to all technicians that Fleetmatics Work is designed to assist all parties in managing their workload and jobs.
The system is designed to give all parties the ability to effectively plan their works and advise others so they can also plan around dates and times.
As such please ensure you :
1 : Accept the job, or reject the job or call AusDigi to arrange an alternative date on the same day the job is dispatched.
2 : Stick to the agreed date or contact AusDigi with plenty of notice if reschedule is required.
3 : Pre-call the client to let them know you are coming and a rough ETA on the day of accepting the job – not last minute on the day of the job.
4 : When leaving for site, click the Start Travel button.
5 : On arrival at site, finish the Travel in the App.
6 : On arrival at site press the “Start” button.
7 : Perform the Take 5, and safety checks, then proceed with the task as per the relevant scope of works and notes.
8 : On completion of the job, fill in all notes, with good explanations of the work that was done. Note any serials installed and/or removed. Upload photos of the completed works, and ensure you “tell the story” and provide quality photographic evidence showing the task was successful – eg working photos of a service, tidy cabling and racks etc.
9 : All photographs need to be labelled in fleet with what they are, eg : “Working TV’s” or “TSR” or “Dish Installation”
10 : Ensure you have placed AusDigi stickers on all non consignment devices and wall plates so the end user knows who to contact for warranty.
11 : Press “Finish” in the App, and repeat for the next task/service visitation.
There is no reason any job should remain assigned and not accepted/rejected/or moved to a date that is mutually acceptable (provided the job remains within SLA agreements).
If a job is unable to be attended you need only to either pick up the phone and call AusDigi to arrange a better time/date to do the job, or reject the job – but this should be done same day as dispatch to ensure others have the opportunity to pick up those works, re-assign them, or let the client know the expectations for the works.
This gives everyone the opportunity to be organised and well prepared to meet client expectations.
A reminder also that all jobs must be started as soon as the tech arrives onsite and finished when the tech leaves site, with signature and appropriate paperwork and photos – this allows us all to verify the client invoice should a dispute arise. Jobs that are not started and finished onsite run the risk of having the invoice rejected/held until such time as payment has been received for the job by AusDigi to ensure dispute arises.
Finally, if any task cannot be completed as per the notes, scope of works, or for any other reason, call AusDigi tech support from site to discuss options – this must be done from site.
