Recently at Beaudesert Turf Club the attending technician arrived with almost all LED interlock clips undone. This causes the screens to rattle and possible damage to the screens can occur, and/or damage to a vehicle or persons behind should one work itself loose.
We remind all technicians to check their load prior to embarking on a trip, including all parts, checking for tension, ladders, tyres, brakes and any other items that could work their way loose or become a hazard including electrical cables.
Please check for damage to leads, physically inspect the modules and rear modules for water ingress, and call AusDigi Pty Ltd if any maintenance is required, any safety issue is spotted, or device malfunctioning.
If any item requires test and tag, do not use the device and notify AusDigi immediately.
Check tyre pressure if unsure prior to driving, and double check all links, safety chains on the tow bar area.
Look for signs of rust both on top of and under the trailer itself and also on the screen stands, and notify AusDigi (including photos) of anything that looks suspicious.
Ensure the screens are covered when left overnight or in heavy rains, and operating equipment such as processors, power plant and set top boxes should always be covered, and not left on the trailer as water egress or condensation can occur and harm the electronics or make them unsafe.
Check the indicators and brake lights prior to embarking.
Drive slowly and using due care at all times !
