HOW TO CHECK SCREEN’S SYSTEM INFORMATION
Finding out the screen’s current software version
SIGNAGE MONITORS >> via remote SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> SYSTEM INFORMATION
COMMERCIAL SCREENS >> via remote SETTINGS -> ALL SETTINGS -> HIGHLIGHT GENERAL and press
“1’ on the remote 6-10 times, this will display the host diagnostic (SYSTEM INFORMATION) of the
screen
FACTORY RESET SCREEN
SIGNAGE MONITORS — SETTINGS -> ADMIN -> FACTORY RESET (If prompt for password, 6 or 8
zeros)
COMMERCIAL SCREENS — SETTINGS -> ALL SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> RESET TO INITIAL SETTING (If
Greyed out, enter LG hotel mode -> FACTORY RESET)

HOW TO DOWNLOAD UPGRADES

on Search Open
Type in the model and click search, then download the required update.

HOW TO ACCESS THE LG HOTEL MODE FOR COMMERCIAL SCREEN
Switch input to HDMI, via remote press and hold settings, look at the screen until the HDMI input
label appears, that’s the hint to release settings and press 1-1-0-5 then press ok (need to do this
quickly), if all ok, LG HOTEL MODE will appear.

POWER ISSUE WITH SCREEN
If the screen is having power related issues
 Powering off after a few mins or so
Commercial: check power settings, Display Power Management
Signage: Check power history (SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> POWER -> POWER ON/OFF
HISTORY)
May need to update MICOM/Firmware

HDMI INPUT ISSUE
 Please check if the HDMI cable has been swapped or tested on a different display
 Unplug and replugin again
 Attempt to perform a factory reset
COMMERCIAL – LG HOTEL MODEL > FACTORY RESET OR LG HOTEL MODE ->
GENERAL -> FACTORY RESET
 Attempt to perform a software upgrade


SETTINGS ISSUE
 Popup message appearing (Bluetooth)
Check SW version of screen, update it and perform a factory reset
 Display Power Management not appear in the settings >>> suggest perform a
software upgrade


ANTENNA SIGNAL
 Perform a AUTO PROGRAMME/AUTO TUNE on the screen
 Factory reset the screen
 Perform a software upgrade
