Please ensure all technicians are using the correct and safe power procedure when setting up LED Trailers as follows :

1 : Ensure 3 Phase cables are firmly plugged in tight and wound up using the screw collar. These must be in TIGHT.

2 : Any joins in cables must be done using plastic bags to prevent water ingress. Please ensure these are secure and tight also.

3 : When connecting to the Power Distribution Unit, check the three phases are around 220-240v on ALL THREE PHASES on the power readout meter. If there is a discrepancy between the phases there is a FAULT and the equipment must not be touched. If a fault is present, switch off at the mains circuit, and look for the voltage to disappear, check all connections are tight, and then re-power. No equipment is to be turned on until the meters on the Power Distribution meter show as being EQUAL TO EACH OTHER (within a few volts is fine, and it will fluctuate, but nothing should read above 250v or under 215v).

4 : Once confirmed that all three phases are correct, you may proceed to power up the equipment.

5 : Please ensure all equipment is covered and off ground (including all cables and devices) and sealed against water ingress.

Please help us all keep safe by following the above rules, others may touch the equipment so it is up to all of us to keep each other safe.
