When onsite at LG warranty works (eg replacing TFT’s and cabinets), in order to invoice a copy of the screen location MUST BE ATTACHED INTO FLEET from the position where the screen is located.

Therefore, tech should stand in the position of the screen, FACING THE WAY THE SCREEN ITSELF FACES get the digital compass reading and screenshot that and upload to Fleet please. This must be done for ALL screens that are serviced for black spot and ink run (LG product) on the site, and the position photo should be labelled with the name and serial of the screen eg : DT1 serial 123456, DT3 serial 7685543 etc

This will provide LG with info on how it faces the sun to build a database of faults so they can build a heat map etc and work out if damage is relative to direct exposure to sun, or just heat itself.

Additionally use the service remote to capture the total run time of the screen and take a photo of it, and write this number into the Work app in your closure notes.
