Zycast 4 Channel HD Modulator
The KT-FX4 is the ONLY commercially Foxtel-approved quad input (HDMI) HD digital modulator that encodes HDMI signal to any DTV channel.
Pre-programmed with a Foxtel-approved channel listing and with an output level of 90dB and MER of >38dB, the KT-FX4 makes use of video compression via H.264 AVC (MPEG-4) and audio compression via MPEG Layer II/AAC to distribute four crystal-clear HD pictures over existing network coaxial cable.
Programming of the Zycast 4 Channel HD Modulator KT-FX4 is done via a web GUI or the front LCD panel using preset parameters.
The Zycast 4 Channel HD Modulator uses a frequency range of 177.5MHz to 816.5MHz (6 to 69).
The modulator comes with TWO power supplies, both connected to the rear of the unit, so in the event of PSU failure, a backup will ensure the unit keeps working until you are able to service it.
Developed specifically for the commercial AV distribution market and the only Foxtel approved modulator on the market, the KT-FX4 encodes four HDMI signals to any DTV channels, providing an easy way to distribute multiple high definition AV signals throughout buildings.
