As the top-of-the-line A/V automation controller in BitWise’s BC series, the Leviton Bitwise BC1 Controller provides the most powerful, comprehensive solution for automating audio/video equipment, as well as other household appliances, lights, etc. It features support for an unlimited number of IP devices, and includes a broad array of communication ports for non-IP devices. Measuring 1RU in height and one full rack width, the BC1 home automation smart control is the dominant rack-mountable solution for automated control in home theaters, conference rooms, bars/restaurants and more.

Flagship BitWise A/V Controller

The Bitwise BC1 Controller serves as a hub to manage and control all the connected devices in your home or business, including audio/video equipment, lighting, security, and HVAC. Automated events are configured by the installer using BitWise’s free Project Editor Software and internal scripting engine. Furthermore, thanks to the controller’s built-in astronomical clock, you can automate events according to time of day, sunrise/sunset, etc. Triggers can also be programmed to send automatic email or text message notifications of certain events.

End-users control the system with an IR remote control and/or the free BitWise mobile app for Apple and Android devices. The smart control home automation’s app is fully customizable, so you can change the look and functionality to suit any system.

Support for Various Communication Requirements

Like all BC Series controllers, the Bitwise BC1 supports an unlimited number of IP devices. This smart control home automation model also enables control of non-IP devices via eight (8) routable IR ports with adjustable output, four (4) RS-232 ports, four (4) signal-sensing inputs (digital or analog) and four (4) general purpose input/output relays. The controller can act independently, or as part of a distributed control system with additional controllers. All controllers in the BC Series are compatible with one another.
